Guides
Each guide follows one real task, from a need or a complaint to a change you’ve tested and released. They build on Set up NL Search: the NL Search Service, the voucher intent, and the search page. The first guide adds a second intent, for requisitions, which the others use too.
Add an intent for requisitionsPrepare the search definition, write the intent with a user field and synonyms, test it, and release it.
Fix a misread phraseCatch a date that the LLM reads wrongly, fix it in a new prompt version, and release it safely.
Turn fallbacks into intentsFind the questions that fell back to keyword search, and fix them with examples or a new field.
Find out why a search found nothingWork out whether the plan, the index, or the user's security emptied the results.
Offer NL Search to the AssistantWrap the search class in an application service, and add it to the Assistant as a tool.
Every change follows the same loop
Section titled “Every change follows the same loop”- Reproduce it. Run the question through the service’s
plancommand, or ask it on the search page, and read the plan and the summary. - Change one thing: an intent, a prompt, or a search definition.
- Test it. Run the service’s
testcommand, and add a test question for what you fixed. - Release it as a new Intent Store or prompt version, so you can roll back.
- Watch the audit log for the questions your change was meant to help.
Tips to share with users
Section titled “Tips to share with users”- Start with the kind of thing you want, such as vouchers or requisitions.
- Add the facts you know: a supplier, an amount, a date, or a status.
- Check the summary above the results. It shows how your question was read.
- Remove a filter from the summary, rather than typing the question again.
- Say “my” for your own records, such as “my requisitions”.
- Say the period plainly when it matters, such as “since 1 June”.
